The Panther Xtreme Stats
The Panther Xtreme, how it stacks up against the competition:
When you search the internet for bat rolling machines, you will quickly notice that ALL of the major bat rollers in the country are using the Panther Xtreme. The following is a list of the top names in bat rolling which are ALL using the Panther Xtreme exclusively.
As a matter of fact you can not find any major bat roller in the country that is not using the Panther Xtreme.
The reason for this is that the Panther Xtreme is the best bat rolling machine in the country! At the heart of this machine is the duo-core plastic system and it really sets us apart from our competition.
Issues in the bat rolling world:
- Bat Slippage
- Marking of bats during rolling
- Flat spots
- Breakage
- Spider webbing
- Grooving of the rollers
To make the best machine in the country, we had to first identify any issues of bat rolling.
Once we identified these issues, we set about to create the machine that would once and for all solve these issues. What we knew was the key element to create such a machine was the plastics used in the machine and we needed 2 hardnesses of plastic in the same roller. The end result is the Panther Xteme Bat Rolling Machine
What Sets the Xtreme Apart:
All of the components of the Xtreme are of the highest grade materials and products.
- Steel Construction, 1/2 inch in all of the major areas
- High Grade Ball Bearings
- Thrust Roller System
- Floating Upper Carriage
- Precision Machined Rollers
- Totally Replaceable Parts
- Lifetime Warranty
But the main thing that really distances the Xtreme from its' competition is the plastics in the rollers.
Duo Core Construction Rollers:
- High end Plastics, the same that is used in roller blades and skateboards
- Inner core is harder
- Outter shell s softer
- Recall Memory
- Really Protects the bats
- Does not mark the bats as our competitors can and at times does.
- Grips the bats like no other plastic or machine ... period!
- Only manufacturer that uses this plastic
- Only machine that uses a duo-core construction
Competitors Plastics:
One of our main competitors makes a totally false claim that they are using the same plastics in their machines but we just use a colored plastic. What they are actually are using is a rock hard plastic called Acetal. This plastic has several issues. Slippage is one of the issues and that is why you will see videos of bat rollers grabbing and turning the handles of the bats while they are turning the handle of the machine.
Another and even great issue is that the plastic is not forgiving. You can and will easily mark up the bat if you do not know 100 percent what you are doing. This is part of the reason that ALL of the major rollers are now using the xtreme.
The other main competitor of ours is using a cheaper, lower grade plastic. Their answer to the slippage issue is to suggest that you wrap the rollers with fiberglass tape and or plastic dry wall tape. The consequences of this is obvious. When the bat continues to slip, it will mark the bat, and also you will be continually replaceing the tape.
Cost:
We know that the Xtreme is the most expensive bat rolling machine in the country. The reason is the cost of purchasing the duo-core plastics. The plastic itself is way more expensive then any other plastic on any other machine being built. (With the exception of our 750). Then the price to have a duo-core roller made is even greater.
Actually we have to buy in excess of $10000 worth of plastics at a time in order to get the rollers at a price that we can put them into our xtreme. That being said, we also know that the new bats are also around $300 a piece. It will ruin your day if you mess up even one of your bats.
When you want the best, then remember the green and choose the xtreme.
